So I just scored a cheap 135i I will be using for drag duty only, and am looking to go with a Powerglide. I know Duck made his own adapter and theres been talk of several vendors making them over the past couple years, but does anyone actually sell an N54 to Chevy bell housing adapter?

My Plan-

Weight reduction
FBO
Powerglide w/appropriate converter
Welded Diff
Slicks
Nitrous

Should be easily mid 10's consistently without breaking the bank. Not trying to turn this into an endless debate about transmission choice, just looking to see where I can source one or if I need to have this custom made.

Try n get one off duck. He said he had a few 3 months ago. Simply tuning in brisbane QLD..

I tried to get one by calling and emailing but the guy on the phone was a dick( not duck, might of been his mate or worker) and he never replied to my emails. To busy making money tuning cars I think.

I ended up drawing it in cad and getting it laser cut.
I have made 9 revisions getting everything lined up.
Last revision my only issue was my centreline crank to transmission centric (made the word up i was lining up the hole perfect ) hole was 67thou out in one direction so im hoping 10th revision its just able to be fine tuned with dowell offset pins.

I would sell you one but mines not ready. Try simply tuning.

Yea I seen that company while looking for an adapter plate.

They look like nice cnc plates.

Good if they had n54 to chev.

No luck on any of the recommendations. I'm going to reach out to a few shops around here and see what they think, if not I may need to start thinking of alternatives. I know a couple machinists who could probably do it for me cheap, but I would have to deliver them an engine and trans for mock up.

I just picked up rev 9 adapter plate today.
Give me 2 days.

Ill tap it and see how close it is.
It was 1.8mm or 67 thou out on the previous revision so I expect about 15 thou this time so I can just use offset pins and its fine to be re produced.

1.8mm is .0708”, but who’s counting. Hope rev9 fits the bill. We need more exciting projects on this platform!

It was .067 67 thou 1.702mm
Thought it equaled 1.8mm.

Good on everyone for bustn me balls.

Just tapped and hooked up the new plate and its .0075
7 thou nearly 8 thou
Thats not much mm.

Im going to put it on my actual engine and see how close it is. Hopefully run it finally.

I was going to offer up 2 10mm plates but I ended up making it to go on my car.

It was a bit more off than last time 13 thou. Should be able to sort it out with welding the dowell pins.
