N54 thermostat housing

[Vetracr]

On the N54 thermostat housing which port goes to the oil cooler and which is the return from the cooler. Is the port closest to the engine the line to the cooler or the return line. I'm installing an oil temp gauge by removing the torx plug and want to measure the oil temp leaving the cooler so I need to which is which. I removed the thermostat and have a BMS plug in housing.

@buster84 ... I have had this happen several times. I don't know why the disagree gets fat fingered, but it does. I think if it got logically moved to the right (next to the poop emoji @doublespaces ) then the innocuous fat finger would be "Information" or one of the other who cares emojis.

I will do a clean up at some point of everyone's ratings to account for this. But a solution has already been choosen. Two clicks would be required for this to occur in the future.

Very strange I dont remember doing any rating all. I just read this page, I didnt plan to rate it. Wierd.

I find that I sometimes get select a poop emoji when scrolling on phone or iPad. If they were centred in the window it would help. Confirmation would nail it as well but slows the process so it’ll be interesting to see if the raw number of ratings in the forum per day will change
