N54 Stock DME Flex Fuel

Just checked my ethanol content after running a year on Shell 93 pump gas ….reading zero 0% … it should be ~10%….ECA is 0.75V. Obviously a problem occurred. I’m also getting a recurring 2B3B error even after replacing the DMTL pump. I’m suspecting a leak at the wired ethanol sensor. Anybody else have these issues? Any suggestions?

Curious what happens if you add a reasonably measured amount of E85.

Doh! Reflashing solved it - made sure this time to check the Motiv Flex Fuel box under ethanol fueling near the top of the options page when flashing. All is fine again (except for the 2B3B recurring DMTL error - tbd). Reading 10% ethanol. I must have forgotten this last year. Haha

Actually, the checkbox for Motive Flex Fuel may have been an oversight in the original instantiation of MHD+. Jake H of Motive emailed me today, letting me know that last year MHD hadn't yet added that select menu in options when flashing. Whatever - it’s there now.

That’s an interesting idea. I have the MSD-81 2008 335xi using IJEOS. Which one would you recommend?
