I am getting the 3.15 diff m3 rear end in my car (DCT) and with the shorter gearing I wanted to be able to rev my car out till 7500ish RPMs to help offset this. After some testing and logging the car drops flat on its face past 7200. timing drops to zero and it seems there is a soft limiter? Is there a way to get around this? I have XHP stage 3 flashed and in true manual mode (sport button pressed traction completely off) the car does not shift by itself because of XHP but the soft limiter seems to still be there, the car pulls timing completely. Was wondering if someone has got around this and can my tuner just tune this out?

has anyone explored this?

Looking at your log your Load Request suddenly drops heavy and your boost is above target and you get Throttle Closure with your timing Drop.

Would be interesting if the TCU lowers Load Req. or it is a typo in your tune.

Torque limit 2048, that's the rev limiter within the DME. Tuner needs to earn his keep.
