Product issue? The few posts above yours discuss this exact issue. This box is a bad product, IMO. I've had nothing but issues with it, this one being the latest, and from what I can tell it's not fixable.
I’ve pumped 93 from different gas station and still getting the same reading. 20% ethanol at 1.02 ECA voltage.

Yup, exact same thing I'm getting. Try reaching out to Motiv and see what they say. They'll likely ask you to send it back and tell you there's nothing wrong with it and the problem is your car. THen you'll be out $200+ and have a product that doesn't work. I have a P3 vent gauge and ended up getting an ethanol sensor adaptor to show the ethanol content at the gauge, so at least I can know where it is, although it obviously won't automatically adjust my tune. https://www.p3cars.com/gauge-accessories/add-on-sensors/p3-ethanol-sensor-voltage-adaptor/

So I just ended up putting 6.3 gal of e85 and topped off with 93pump (e40 mix). Readings came out to 41-42%. I guess the sensor is working. But wondering now if the sensor will read below 20% on 93pump since that’s what it was prior adding e85. We will see.

You know you can rescale the voltage to E% in the map if it is off. The FF box output is 0-3v, and has a 0.5v value (typically 0) and 3v value (typically 100). Not sure if Motiv recommends that, but i would do that first before buying new.

E40 seems high on 6.3gal of E85. I'd guess more like E25-E30.

Installed the FF box last week and have been having the same problem as others here. ECA fluctuating between 1.00-1.06, and at WOT goes all the way to 4.4 v. Have the PR coils which I know are the problem, but others have the same exact setup and it works out fine. What I have noticed is a lot of the other PR coil setups are 5 series or z4 where the DME box is on the driver side. So maybe the fact it’s away from the coils it’s not getting any interference? I just think it’s dumb that I would have to change out an almost $500 part for stock style coils just to make this work. Like there’s got to be something to fix this Issue besides replacing parts.

I drive a Z4 and have the same problem. I don't know if I just have the worst luck, or what, but I seem to have gotten every problem you can feasibly get with this product. I felt the EXACT same way when swapping back to stock coils, but it fixed the issue. Annoying as hell, especially since apparently it works fine for most.

So still haven't had a resolution. just took it out of the dome box entirely and am waiting for a free day to tinker. Already tried different power wire, different ground, checked all pins. Everything was exactly the way it should be with again, no resolve. weird that reading through this thread, it seems like this problem got worse over time as it seems more and more people have the same problem, but with only a few actually finding a solution that for most of us still comes to the same result. Weird to think that it got worse over time rather than better or even completely fixed like most products in any industry do. Just want this thing to do what its supposed to like every other thing I've bought for my car. I was thinking if maybe the 3.5 map sensor with the conversion harness might make a problem since its tapping into map sensor wires in the dome if im not mistaken. Any Info on the complete wiring and what its tapping into would help as well. Also I've even tried a friends old delphi coils and newer elder coils, variation was still present in ECA voltage. also got rid of PR coils and went with B58 conversion as well.

Is this a request I'd make to my tuner?

Ya. This is the table. If it is overreporting, I guess you'd need to adjust the voltage for 0.0% ethanol to 0.75V or something. Would take some playing around and the table is only 3 cell so limited adjustment. You need to leave the 4V cell alone as that is error voltage and the FF kit has some other handling based on that.
