MHD and Motiv Flex Fuel install not working?

In the E85 quest, I've installed my Fuel it stage 2 lpfp a few weeks ago. The past two evenings I've installed the Motive sensor and short fuel lines last night I connected it to my DME. I followed the instructions exactly and carefully. I have triple checked all the connections. I already had MHD stage 2+ E50 running and I also downloaded the E85 mix maps a couple of weeks ago. I've reloaded the map twice now since hooking up to the DME. In theory, I should be up and running. But I'm not. My ECA voltage averages between 1.81-1.82. My Ethanol content and Fuel Interpolation both do not read anything are showing 0.0. I have driven over 25 miles giving it time to read, but nothing. All connectors are snug, the box is pigtailed into the bottom inside wire for power and the ground is piggy backed on to the other ground shown in the instructions.

Anyone have an idea? TIA

Hi,

Can you please post a screenshot of your "read codes" screen so I can see the name of the last flashed map? Thank you!

I preemptively think I know your issue though. It sounds like you flashed the Stg2+ E50 map again, which is incorrect. For OTS flex fuel, you must flash the V8 Stg2+ for whatever regular fuel you will be running, as well as own the flex fuel module. MHD then automatically combines the tunes and adds the flex fuel logic.

Here is the screen shot from MHD codes and also what I'm seeing on the gauges.

Yes, wrong map flashed as suspected. Please flash as I described above. It is going to be a long flash fyi.

You da man! I figured it was something simple... Thanks!

Since you have some knowledge, is there a limit to how much ethanol I can run with this. Full e85 or is there a like a prime mixture to shoot for?

You can run full e85, but it will pull back boost and timing over E50 if I recall on the OTS maps, so you don't run out of fuel.

Custom tune is the plan after dp's and inlets. I guess it's time to log and see where the sweet spot is in relation to e85 ratio/timing/performance.
