Your right. I assumed the lines going to the hpfp's and rail were 8an. My bad, they're 6an. I will look into the radium surge tank.

Not to thread jack, but..

The gas station by my house now sells E85. (I want some!)

If you were going to upgrade the stock fuel system to handle 100% E85 (or an E85 mix), on a future single turbo car, what all would you do / buy?

I’m looking to upgrade the fuel system just one time and be done with it. I want it to be able to support any potential future mods.

Go to fuel-it.biz

Ive checked them out, but I’m leaning towards the Vader solutions bucketless triple pump bracket.

Going with that bracket seems like it going to be putting together most of the components myself vs buying a complete kit, and that’s why I asked the question above.

Well I'll say it again. 2 pumps in the tank, doesn't matter if they are in the bucket or bucketless, will both flow the exact same through factory lines and regulator. 3 pumps is useless unless you're adding more than just that. 2 pumps gets you pretty far with the rest of the system gone through.

Exactly this. When you are pushing through a straw, doesn't matter how many people you get to blow on the other side of the straw, all that is going to come out, is what the straw can flow...

Odd how this thread morphed the conversation but cool that it happened. Anyone want pics of the upgraded straw I'll be pushing the fuel through? (i.e. fuel line install)

I think my plan (when I get back from deployment) is to make a flat top hat out of aluminum, use a mil 38999 bulkhead for the fuel pump and float electrical, use some threaded rod to set the bucket less pump bracket depth, install 3 pumps (for future growth, won’t connect all of them initially) have 3 6an’s out of the hat into a triple Y feeding a single 8an to the engine compartment.

I bought this car while deployed and haven’t gotten to mess with it at all, so if this plan sounds way off please let me know!

Might want to check out @AD-ENG they have a billet top hat and some more exotic stuff for people who want to get serious with the fuel.
