Intercooler fitment on 335is

So a buddy if mine has a 335is and he want to upgrade the intercooler.... I have an ams intercooler laying around which i assume would fit but the site lists that it fits up to 2010 335s.... So the question is, does anyone know if there is any changes that would make it not fit a 335is?

The 335is is an LCI N54, and 2011 335i was LCI and N55. So they likely stopped at 2010 because of the N55 change, but I can't be for sure that there aren't some LCi differences. I'd suspect it would fit however.

See thats my thought behind this. I cant imagine they changed anything especially seeing how n54 fmic work on n55 cars

Well also remember that ams backed out of the market early. That's probably just your typical compatibility range that's being pulled

335IS have a second radiator. The charge pipe and IC cold side exit have to be different. ATM makes one. Some say the VRSF one works. I have the ATM on mine.

I have an Evolution racewerks intercooler which is about the same as the AMS iirc on my 335is. Fits no problem other than some plastic trimming which is expected.

Also make your life easier, just remove the fan when doing the lower charge pipe install.

I can't say what's different, but the ATM fit mine.
