Inlets, which brand is everyone running?

Looking for some inlet recommendations from the Z4 guys. I had a set of VRSF and they fit great but now need to change them out because I went with larger turbos with 2" inlets.

I ordered some Vargas inlets but fitment was not good compared to the VRSF. I am thinking of relocated inlets but it doesn't seem like any fit our Z4s (MMP)?

My 2 inch mmp has worked fine for years. I did replace the mmp outlets because they kept burning up next to turbos due to bad engine mounts. I replaced them with aluminum PSP outlets. Very happy with that.

Thanks for the input. I decided on a set of psp outlets and will be doing custom hot side inlets. Will need to modify the large heat shield in passenger firewall area and relocate the coolant tank.

Any guys on here have relocated inlets? I’m trying to figure out the best routing for the front pipe. I think I am going to have to re-route some coolant lines around by the thermostat. I now see why the 335i kits will not fit our cars.

Out of trying VRSF, VTT and RB the RB fit the best. They are a little more but definitely worth it if going with stock location inlets.

MMP inlet's are good on the Z4. Not the outlet in my experience, which is the same as @matreyia's.

We are soon doing relocated inlet on the Z4, using @Hydra Performance stuff. Can't promise it will work on the E89 until we confirm. Will report as we work through it. I particularly don't care for running that huge pipe across the front of motor or, more importantly behind the radiator.

I returned my PSP 2" outlet - while its general fabrication was excellent, I did not care for the incompletely formed bead at the turbo attachment side. If you are installing that, I'd consider finishing that bead with a crimp tool. While PSP says it is not an issue, I'd want the bead complete as it should be, to perform its sealing function.

Going to be using Hydra Perf hybrid inlets and closed intake solution. Also his outlets if they're ready in time.
