Looking for help in figuring out a hpfp issue.
Blew up a 2013 f30 n55 engine (long story) so I just bought another used engine and am in process of reinstalling the entire engine bay....
The HPFP on my original engine sat vertically behind and above the vacuum pump (2 bolt) and roughly 4" thick pump housing. HOWEVER. On the engine I just purchased (didn't come w/ a pump) it looks like a 3 bolt pattern directly in line with the vac (roughly 1.5" thick housing plate). I really don't know how to proceed with this,.
I tried removing my original housing but I can't get it to "release" from the shaft driven from the chain. I have tried rotating the engine to line up the "lobes" to no avail.
If anyone has experience with this or knows what to do your help is greatly appreciated.
