Hood exit 02 sensor relocation

If I were to do a hood exit on my docrace single turbo 135i and drop off the rest of the exhaust, would I be able to weld in some bungs on the “up”-pipe for the post cat 02’s or would I need to code them out and remove them completely?

There are 3in vband downpipes you can buy with o2 bungs already in place just relocate the sensors
