Hi all
smile.gif

Car is a 2006 RHD N54 335i with **, intercooler, BOV, Charge pipe, Inlets, Outlets and RB Ones, JB4 (G4) currently Map 2 (14.5 psi).

Only just got the car up and running with the new hybrids and after running round on the stock tune, checking for leaks ect
I finally got the JB4 installed yesterday and managed to get a log of the pull, I have had a look at the logs and I'm not sure if the AFR is running lean...could someone check this log over and let me know if the car is safe to drive and any issues with the log?

I haven't been able to install the BEF yet as I managed to buy an older JB4 -.-

Any help or support would be greatly appreciated! :D

I posted this on another forum and Payman @ BMS got in touch. Was recomened to upgrade my JB4 to the G5 as my G4 was not going to cut the cheese! I absolutly needed to flash the BEF hence the swap to G5.
Car running a little lean for WOT, so not driving the car for now.
Just waiting on the G5 to come in the post :)

Just an update for anyone

The new JB4 came today, kudos to BMS on the shipping time! I was expecting a 7-14 day wait from the US to the UK. To have it on day 2 was a nice suprise!

Anyhow, JB4 is installed and managed to get some logs done. There not the best but im struggling at the moment for a good place to do it.
Ive done a few sets of logs on both map 1 and 2. I'll only link the best two of each though, keep things simple.

Map 1

https://datazap.me/u/fredharwood/jb4-bef-map-1?log=0&data=1-4
Map 2

https://datazap.me/u/fredharwood/bef-map-2-jb4-93oct-98-ron-rb-ones?log=0&data=1-2-3-4-21

These look much better to me than the previous, AFR is on target and the boost is more steady than without the BEF.

However it does seam a little slower, I guess this is the timing?
Probably much safer this way! is this low timing now or was it crazy high before?
14.5psi (floating) and 8-10degrees timing felt as fast as 17psi with 2-6 degrees (asuming this is timing advance?)

I do have a question relating the JB4 if anyone could help.... How accurate is the boost guage (fuel hijack)? when first planting my foot the guage seams to shoot up and then come back and steady, however in all of the logs I took no such thing happens?
Boost seams to get to target and stay on or very close :/

Sorry for all the questions, I just want to understand whats going on and hopefully bea able to help others on this forum one day
