My heater control valve is stuck open. Looks pretty easy to replace. I'm not sure what brand part to use. Gates 150 bucks and Uro 75 bucks appear to be what most auto parts stores carry. Then there's the fcp euro route but they only have the bmw oem option for 180 bucks. Lifetime replacement of course.
There's also ebay and Amazon with unbranded going for 25 bucks.
