Made it myself as well.
Used a hydraulic coupler 6L for the correct threat.
Works like a charm.

I bought the PR one also, has worked great and includes the injector seal bit also. I made one with pretty good infill and apparently it broke for some local kid. I can't remember the settings I used unfortunately. I haven't used my 3d printer probably since about that time.
You're making injector pullers for random kids in the neighborhood? Isn't that illegal where you live?! :grinning:

The seal compressor is still a nice bit to have. Installing a new set with just a puller is OK but installing new seals/used injectors you need a compressor.

This.

I never had an issue removing my injectors, a couple tugs directly upward. It's getting the seal on and compressing it that seems important. If the seal isn't compressed enough you can actually snap it by skipping a hole. I broke one last time by using the compressor backwards and had to go to the dealer for another(buy an extra).

The guy I'm getting to print the tool said the models must be made for machining not printing due to the issues with tolerances once printed.
So I think I'll use my tap and die set to adjust the threads etc so it hopefully functions.

I'm going to use it to pull a couple sets of injectors from one car to another and vice versa. I'm hoping the seals don't cause me any issues..

Likely... You won't get those back in without compressing the seals.

.....Unless you have both cars side by side and insert it right away

Printed one last night in Zortrax Z-Ultrat and 100% infill. This thing should last.

I used this tool a while back, at the OP's recommended settings. It works great and the open source / free distribution definitely gets 2 thumbs up.

Caveat as some have mentioned in the thread, a stronger material and more infill is needed for the more stubborn injectors or the tool might snap.

I have had two printed by a local guy.
So I can do the job on both of my cars at once.
I had to sand down the rods a little so the hammer would move freely.
And also had to use a 12mm x1.50 die to tidy up the threads on the rod. I also used the tap for the coupler also just so it all fits nicely.

I was planning on doing it with both cars side by side and as I pull one I'll pull the other and swap them over straight away. Hoping that I have no issues with seals.
