Flash MSD81 DME e92 335i N54 with DCT to 335is

Hi guys,

i want to flash the DME and TCU(DCT) of my 2009/04 e92 335i(MSD81) with DCT to the 335is software.
currently my MSD81 has the PPK Software(only 430NM) (ZUSB 7628566 is that INA0S???) and DCT (ZUSB 7601973).
so the question is, which ZUSB is the correct one for my DME to flash the 335is software with 326HP and 500NM Overboost, burble etc.
and wich ZUSB is recommend for the DCT ( i have heared something about 8606092??) to run well together with the 335is dme software?
is the flashing process of the DME just run WinKFP and choosing the right ZUSB, like the TCU flash?

Since you have INPA, go to engine, N54, and it's either F1, F2, or F3. I can't remember which off the top of my head, but one of those will give you your DME info/version. That's the first thing you need to know, exactly which ROM you have.

Then you can't update to the"335is" DME software, at least not without some black magic, custom DME work. You can use Winkfp to update both the DME and DCT with the update function and let it pick the proper ZB to update with.

I am running 8606092! What i heave learned by search is that this is the european IS Flash software for the 335i

It came at the same time as the latest IS software for the US 335is. You can safely flash it. It is really awesome!

If ive already loaded the 8606092 DCT Flash like the above user,
i can just get a upgraded ZB# for an updated ROM and flash it Via WinKFP? eg: INA0S ZB# via WinKFP will allow me to flash a INA0S file going forward? or not really?

INA0S can be flashed to non IS DMEs. But you need to change the 0 at 4BD9D and E to 1 in the bin and run a Full Write. These codes are not contained in the standard XDF tables file sadly.

I note on the INA0S BEF files that 4BD9D is = "00" and 4BD9E = "01".
So i assume just 4BD9D then needs to change to "01".
Would this be correct?

I take this from the HexEditor.
Would i be correct in this?
Would the above two bits need to both need to be changed to "01"?

I did not flash it yet as my car is in the shop.

I don´t know about the hex editor.

We know the value is between 00 and FF so you got a 1 in 255 chance of flashing it right the first time. Maybe.

Yes and technically yes. The technicality is because it will think your stock rom is then INA0S going fwd so if you ever wanted to go back to 100% stock you'd have to manually flash IJE0S.

I believe the point of doing this(Please correct me if I'm wrong) was to get the better DCT software which comes in the INA0S rom, the IJ DCT config is a turd supposedly. Since the 335is doesn't have a normal automatic version, I'm not sure how that would turn out.
