Any N63/TU guys in here? SpoolStreet is defintely based on the 3er/n54/n55 but wanted to hear from other 50i owners and their experiences with mods and upgrades.

Current mods are muffler delete, catless downpipes and Bootmod3 stage 2 91 oct. Next up on my list is to get the N63Intake, WMI and a custom tune for E30. Most likely via twisted tuning.

According to virtual dyno the car is currently putting down just shy of 520whp and 553wtq. My ultimate goal is to get the car around 600/640.

I really wanted to get an X5 with this engine, they can sound nasty with an exhaust. I'll make it a point to promote this motor a bit more in the future.

I've been impressed with the platform. My 2014 550xi has WMI and a custom piggyback tuner with wastegate control. Best 1/4 mile so far is 11.65@119 mph (using dragy - times at the local dragstrip are typically 0.1 sec slower due to heat soak). This is at 4600 ft elevation - stock the car was around 13.0@108. I'm running 23psi of boost, which is as high as I want to go on the stock 2.5 bar TMAP sensors. I'm planning for some Pure stage 2 turbos next year, but I may replace the TMAP sensors in the meantime and push the stockers a little higher.

The car has been great (essentially no oil consumption and no issues through 60k miles), though stock it did have quite a variation between the two banks. I've since corrected that (swapping MAF sensors, optimizing tuner for each bank), which noticeably improved overall performance. With xdrive, the car surprises/upsets a lot of muscle cars at the dragstrip...

Did you ever get one? I actually did a search for an F06 the other day. I have a convertible now, and would like to have another car with four doors again. The Gran Coupe is kind of a happy medium between style and usability/comfort. The other thing to consider is the 6 series coupe is dead and this is the last time you can get one since the 8 series took over that role.

No, I realized the r33 skyline was turning 25 and I need some GT-R in my life. Just looking for the right one at the right price. I've still got the 335is and I'm not planning on ever letting it go. I love that car.

I'm just done letting go of cars. I'm going to start hoarding them. I've only owned one car that I don't wish I still had. Thankfully I have a big driveway and a lenient HOA.

Sometimes an RV gate and a big back yard/gravel area is undervalued. I think That will be in the requirements for my next place, I don't mind living a touch more out of town so long as there is a freeway relatively nearby.

I told her if someone gives me 30g or more I'll jump all over, she was ol with that cause she knows how much I put in so her mind its feasible lol. To bad noone even knows it's for sale. Jesus christ I better hope she doesnt go on spoolstreet for any reason or their will be a new wtb for a camper or rv

I'm not worried I doubt anyone would pay 30g unless they were planning on doing build low 20s all day but 30 pushes it. I do have 45g in receipts at this point but some of that is my fault. Like the pd trans I love it but in end I could done dct swap for same money or less .

Seems mission is the only one doing trans tune but the m5 and x5m use same trans and noone really reports issues sonic dont know if it's not necessary. I just know xhp was great so I dont know if when hitting 650 to 700 crank if we need to remove torque limiters .

Yes...... Heatsync Performance Euro has the sauce... 2014 550 XDRIVE They already hit 10s on the heavier 650 RWD I’ll be getting xhp soon....
