Interestingly my curve is quite a way off the above post but also non-linear. Makes me wonder if I need to calibrate the curve.

For EOT I am using -20 to 150 deg C, 0 to 5.005v. Not sure if it is accurate below room temperature, dont think it will be a problem in the NT. Its another one I didnt calibrate myself (was in the ecu like that). Ideally I would take all this stuff and put them in a water bath while plugged in to the ecu and calibrate against a known sensor. I did something like that with my IAT (pvc test fixture and hair dryer...) If you find some different relationship to above I'd be interested if you posted it back up.

Started a manifold.
Not equal length but will have big arse turbo attached to it.

Had to modify the manifold a bit around 10 hours of work all just to keep the manifold as a one piece.

Few mm here few mm there to make the manifold easy to install and remove.

Just mounted the turbo up for first time in the car and the compressor cover hits the bonnet by around 7mm. More adjusting....more time...

I decided to get a pdm.
I was interested in a motec pdm 30 but they are a bit outdated compared to some other brands so Im looking at Emu pcu 16 or 24 when its out.

Manifold complete.
It is made in one piece and can be installed and removed very easy.
It takes literally 1 minute to put it in position and get a couple of nuts on.

Big list of things to do but one long runner rhd manifold done!

Thanks mate! Because of you i learned why long tube headers make sense! MotoIQ has a really good video explaining. He is talking about calculating the lenght for improving the efficiency. Did you do any of that?

I didnt calculate anything but measured the volume of each runner and bank.
I have been watching Richard Holdener for around 2-3 years thats where I learnt a bit.

You're becoming an expert at building these manifolds Brule. It appears to be installed very easily. When are you running your car next?

Yea alot of extra work from the manifold physically fitting and t4 flange in the right spot then being able to install and remove it was an extra 10 hours.

It wasnt easy. Around 70 hours work

Was aiming for roll racin in April but realIstic will me May June.

Finish turbo, install pdm and ecu then tune it.

Been working on the car a bit.
Made another manifold but sold it before fitting it. Im keen to just get my setup done.

Made custom coolant pipe
Removed direct injection everything
Manifold is in but need 3 oem nuts to keep fitting turbo kit.

Still a 6-8 week list but I have alot of parts to keep it moving
I have every sensor you could need
Exhaust backpressure
turbo speed sensor and a few more

Looking into adding a small dbw throttle body between turbo and intercooler for launch control strategy.
Its something I found out about a few years ago and was pretty impressed by it.
It allows you to spin your turbo up to a certain rpm while bleeding boost out to amosphere then the dbw betwern turbo and intercooler closes and you have the turbo shaft speed for instant boost response that is tuned by torque you require. You literally can tune it to launch at a pre determined torque value.

And I got new diff gears

Fitted vaccume plate hahah

Nice work Brule. Your manifolds certainly look the business these days.

Separate throttle body between turbo and ic is a very interesting concept, thanks for sharing.

Waiting for oem manifold nuts to put the rest of the turbo setup on.
Waiting for a 6-7 sensors to start welding bungs and putting AN fittings for them.

Welded a bung on the turbo for back pressure sensor.

Going to change diff gears over the wknd to keep it moving any way I can.

Always something that goes wrong.

Removed diff cleaned it removed pinion races that are pressed in.

Went to install the pinion race in the cover and its to small. It was supposed to be a st4190 bearing but the kit came with
20230422_142558.jpg
a st4183 bearing.

So my car will be up in the air for a few weeks until I get a new bearing and race.

Some progress

Welded 2 studs on turbo for T4 flange so its easy to install remove

Made turbo oil feed with oil filter and regulator (Turbosmart OPR V2) Need one more 90 degree fitting.

Fitted oil drain flange. Cant make oil drain as I accidentally orderded a -8 not -10 oil drain extension off turbo.

Accidentally ordered a 4 inch compressor v band kit instead of tutbine outlet v band kit. Took me a while to realise (2 hours lol) $270 down the drain oops.

Diff is still apart but new bearing ordered.

All my sensors are due this week.
