Battery is down cause i left the doors open for couple days now trying to fix this issue. Battery is getting charged now. Here is how it all started.
I noticed a leak underneath the car under driver side by the back tire. Followed it and sure enough the driver side top hat was leaking? No clue how it happened(pic attached). I bought a new one from Pfs, the one with no filter/bypass comes all assembled with new hat and i bought new lines from precision and the external fuel pressure since i am going to tackle the fuel. My friend is helping me doing the job after work so i jacked it and put it on stand , removed the connector to the fuel pump, started the car, it ran for couple seconds and then it died(to remove fuel pressure from the lines before we disconnect them) He replaced the driver side hat and he had to take the fuel pump assembly (passenger side) out cause there is three siphon lines that goes from driver to passenger side and had to delete one cause the bucketless does not have a connection and neither the new top hat. He then installed the new upgraded lines from the top hat driver side to the ethanol sensor and new small one from ethanol sensor to the y connection by the pi and Lpf sensor. It was getting late so we called it a day and decided to finish installing the external fuel pressure and the new lines that goes back to driver side on Saturday. He installed the bucktlesspump back in cause i had to move the car from where it’s sitting so i can use the bay at the garage(no fuel pressure regulator i know but at least it should start)
No power to the fuel pump connector. I swapped his ekpm2 from his car both 2007 cars and car still does not have power to the connector. I checked continuity on the wire from ekpm to the pump and wire is fine using the multimeter. I ordered a used ekpm3 from ebay and planning on coding it using protool cause i don't want to mess up his working ekpm2. Bucktless primary is the 535 one so that one does not have a check valve would it get damage if i ran the fuel lines empty? The only thing i haven’t tested yet is to jump the fuel pump but it was working fine before and it is brand new with few miles on it( i barely drive the car mostly idle to remove it from it’s spot and starts every time on the coldest day with full e85 in it without a hiccup)
