In my quest for maximum tire, I have taken things a bit to the extreme in terms of rear tire size (275/45/18 MT S/S), and found that when my suspension is uncompressed, my rear tire rubs on find number 6, the "Push rod left, and Push Rod right".

I tried searching to find what the e90 M equivalent component was to see if that would buy me more room, but I actually do not see an equivalent part on the diagram on realOEM.

Does anyone know if there is an M equivalent to the part, and if so, does it offer more tire clearance and bolt up to the non-Ms? Has anyone cut theirs up for clearance or made a custom one?

Basically it is already rubbing the fender (after rolling them) to space it out, I would be looking at some body cutting.

With the help of a vendor, the M part is Body strut, 51618040752, but it does not visibly appear to have much more curvature to give more room for tire.

I dont think it would be hard to make a custom rod mount stronger than the current stamped piece. Go custom

I was just going to say the same thing. Might be a PITA finding the right shop but it should be definitely be doable.

Maybe have a few made and if they sell it pays for itself? You can't be the 1st to run up against that.

just for interest sale i know your profile is meatier, but i run a 285/35/19 on the rear of my E92,
I had plenty touching, more so the actual fender,
i went and sourced a set of E93 Msport rear Springs, due the much heavier rear, it lifted the the back a good 8mm just from the springs, i thought id have to roll fenders, but there was no need after the spring swap, and ive never touched since,
i cant say if it will help your issue, but a thought...

Since the tires were still rubbing the fender despite my best efforts, I figured that replacing that brace was not really going to help, so I just sold the tires and bought smaller ones

What size did you go with?
