E90 335i vs LS1 GTO

hey all! Had my 335i for about a month now and I'm absolutely in love with it!

Got to line up with an LS1 GTO with bolt ons at the local races and managed to put a pretty good gap on him even with the bald tires we were running.

Car is an 07 sedan sport auto. Is it common for these cars to put a couple of busses on a GTO? I'm pretty impressed with this thing. I came from a 450whp wrx that was set up for 1/8 mile and consistently trapped 100mph in the 1/8 and 120+ in the 1/4 at the no prep races.

This little 335i feels incredibly quick for a stock car. Especially at my altitude.

My last car was a 2009 WRX. It was a fun little car. I only had it at Stage 2. My car before that was a Trailblazer SS with the LS2. I can say from experience those LS engines aren't that quick unless you do some work to them. Not surprised that you pulled so well on that GTO. I can say that my 335i is the fastest car I've ever owned.

Nice! I miss my subaru at times but so far the 335 seems to be a much better platform all around.

the 335 is definitely much better platform, I've been around subarus for too long and can't stand them.
