I have an idea for a bracket for those with M3 Strut Brace. Use the 2 bolts on each side to mount a flat piece of metal that is lower than the brace. It'll have to be bent to a 45 degree on each side so what you have is a flat metal hanging below the strut bar.

Then that 180 degree flat metal is twisted so its 90 degrees (see reference photo below).

Drill some holes and you'll have a mount using the Mishimoto OCC mount. For BMS OCC, an L bracket will have to be created.

This will also effectively lower the position the OCCs. Someone make it!

The problem with tapping the mishimoto catch can, is that the wall of the can is very thin on top. The problem, is there aren't any other good places to tap the can that are thicker. All the areas of the can top that are solid metal with enough thickness are off to the side, or put the can at an angle off the strut bar that won't look right. I think I'm going to just tap the can in the center anyway. This will enter the catch can chamber, and I'll seal it with some RTV or something. My only concern is how strong the mounting point will be, since its only about 1/4" thick at the top. I'll see if its possible to tap only on the edge of the can, I may have to change some of my fittings I purchased however.

I'm using one of the side holes (with a washer so it's flush) to bolt it down and zip tied the straight fitting (in). On the bar I used some electric tape to prevent it from sliding.

What I'm thinking is tapping another hole next to an existing one.

Yeah, I'm probably going to do the same. The bolts that come with the BMS brackets are something like M4's but the screws for the mishimoto are something smaller. Not sure what I'm gonna do here. I would like to use the thicket one for the strength, but I don't want to overbore the hole and run into problems.

It seems plenty sturdy to me.

The existing threads are M4x0.7x10

You'll need an M4x0.7 tap and a #30 drill bit(3.3mm)

I bought four M4x0.7 bolts and 8 washers, but instead of 10mm length get 16mm because of the washers and bracket. Just make sure you tap the hole deep enough and be careful not to break the drill bit like I did. I bought a 115 piece drill bit set just to get the #30 bit locally, and ended up breaking it so one of my holes is not as deep. The M4 washers I got were wide and had to grind the insides but if you tap the hole perfectly you can probably avoid that since the bracket was made for a 10-32 screw, so there is a little room.

And here it is mounted up:

The can on the left goes to a 10AN flapper delete fitting and vta. There is a plastic barb in there now but I'll install a 3/8NPT to 10AN adapter in there. The can on the right needs a 90* 8AN fitting where the straight fitting is, and the 90* fitting goes to a 6AN hose end which will go to a check valve and my intake manifold.

I mounted the cans backwards, because I think its unsightly when the hoses come out the front in all directions.
