Looks like @DOC_Race and OCD have more in store for us. I wonder how this will compare to the other ported heads available:
If this includes an oversize valve option with all Ferrera components then I'm down. I have a need for 8500rpm for my end goals
What about the lifters? If this includes an oversize valve option with all Ferrera components then I'm down. I have a need for 8500rpm for my end goals
If that's true, then N54 hydraulic lifters are more robust than the M5x / S5x lifters that tap out right above 7000 rpm. Interesting.
He's eyeballing a standaloneIsn't the stock DME hard limited to 81xx RPM lol
Hopefully less expensive
I agree, but I doubt it.
OCDWorks isn't inexpensive to start with and you are going to have their mark up on it and then Doc Race's mark up. Two hands in the kitty before it gets to the end customer vs. say ABR whom I assume does it all in house.
That being said more competition is better for the customer.

Is ABR still considered good, after what happened with them and Phuong's car on the MMP group? Honest question.
Out of the loop, can I have a source for this info?
Standalones are like $3k+ IIRC? I might be looking into this avenue in the future when I swap in some Schrick cams, I should have a head capable of almost 9000rpm. What are the other benefits of a standalone ECU? Could it be coded for more security with port injection? (shuts down on misfire)
