So because I had to take out my DME to have the MOSFETs replaced... I continued on and pulled the rest of the plastic box so I can fab up a DME box. I'm creating this thread to document my progress, and garner any suggestions.

Started designing, and this is what I've come up with so far. Sheet metal .063 Aluminum folded and welded up with a CNC flange and cover.

Without jacking the price up too much, is there a simpler latching system? These screws may be a little tedious

I think that would be more interesting than replacing the container itself.

You probably could get away w/ half the fasteners. It just needs to be water resistant, not submersible. Also, cut outs for the factory 'D' shaped grommets would be stellar. Looks like you could lay it out in a similar way, just run the lid seal right across the top of the grommets.

Yeah, I'm trying to simplify it slightly also, instead of having it bent.
