Having an issue disabling lean spool to my understanding when logging "Fuel mode" you will see in the logs where lean spool is active is 20?
Problem is i have tried Disable lean Spool 00 and 01 and in logs nothing changes still fuel mode 20. Maybe theres something else i'm missing?

Lean spool and spool mode are not the same things. Lean spool is an offset to lambda when conditions are met, spool mode is an operating sub mode.

If you're wanting manual control of your spool AFR, disable lean spool and adjust them with the spool fuel table. If you want to avoid spool mode altogether (why?), the easiest thing to do is lower spool mode end RPM below something you'll never be WOT at.

Thanks RSL :) It just seems in that area to dip lean 16+AFR during Spool. I was looking to smooth it out there. Disable lean spool and adjust them with the spool fuel table would help there? Maybe it's just hpfp not spooling up all the way since it's mechanical?

It's probably the lean spool unless you're having maintenance issues. There's more overlap on cams during spool also, up to a point, so 16:1 with it isn't as bad as it sounds. They wouldn't set it that way stock if it were problematic.

Yeah, disable lean spool and use the spool AFR table to set where you want. Spool fuel table is only active during mode 20, then it switches to the main AFR tables at mode 2, so try to get the AFRs close on spool/main tables at the RPM/load around where it normally switches over.

Excellent! Thanks again.

Edit: Silly question to "disable lean spool" i'd have to disable it with 00? 01 is enabled but not enabling disabled lean spool lol?

True, the table descriptions don't always help lol

@TSilver335i 0 to disable lean spool, 1 to enable. Hover over the table name in XDF for the switch values or check a stock rom (which has it enabled) and use the opposite value to disable.
