Just got back from my Indy and they found my DCT is leaking pretty bad from the passenger side of the DCT. They quoted $1100 to reuse the fluid and filters and $2K for new fluid and filter change. I have 56K on the odometer.
Just looking for any feedback on what others think.
I might just do the fluid change now instead of waiting until 80-100K.

The side pan requires the box to come out and that’s a lot more hours to charge than the bottom. A lot of people reckon it’s not the side pan but a breather on the top of the box instead. I would clean the box and be sure where the leak is from first. I’m in the same position

Another $900, and yes, seems very excessive. It's the only BMW Indy I know of near me. Might have to start looking further away.
I took the cost of new fluid into account, so that leaves around 500-600 for the filter changing.

You are supposed to take the box out to replace it but you can sneak them out by lowering it a little. Yes the side covers leak a lit on these things as well as the pan cracking . The filter is built I to the pan ao it's quite a bit of coin. Owning a dct car can be expensive.
