Is there a specific type of DCI that's recommended for 2" inlets? Only reason why I ask is because the inside diameter of the 2" inlets is much larger then the supplied aluminum pipe the BMS DCI comes with which appears to fit more snug with the oem inlets. I'm not sure if any of this makes a difference or not or if the 2" inlets just need to be clamped all the way down.

Got it. Not sure why, but my VRSF stock location inlets seem to have a larger inside diameter where the DCI mounts. The included pipes on the MMP seem to be larger then the BMS for example

I actually test the air resistance of my BMS DCI filters with a shop vac. They actually make the shop vac whine a lot more when dirty than when clean, indicating there is some flow restriction. After cleaning and refreshing the DCI filters with oil the shop vac whine is gone.

I was thinking the same, but I heard with the PR coils you can run a slightly larger gap.
Against popular belief larger is not better.
