Motiv is far from a log manifold. The CNC magic that is inside that thing is something you won't see many other places. Steedspeed will have a similar setup.
I wasn't referring to Motiv.
The quickest and fastest ST cars run the Simply Tuning Manifold.
Which looks like half a log, space is pretty limited on RHD cars.

Which cars out there are running this manifold that are so fast?
101 Duck who ran 9s at 140mph and another car in Melbourne that has ran 10s at 140mph.

Edit: fact checked myself and I was slightly wrong. Looks like they ran 139 and 137mph respectively. I’m trying to find a faster N54 trap and all I can find is Vargas with twins.

Are both running a 4l80e and 8.8 rear end?

A simple log style manifold would be fine for 90% of the people on this platform. I'm still amazed a kit around one is not for sale after all of these years.

It's much easier to make a jig and weld some pipes than to make the initial casting for a log manifold...

I agree, I don't believe I said cast, but that too should have been done long ago and be a proven solution.

1/4 times on this platform have been poor for ages due to chassis limitations and using the wrong drivetrain components. It’s never been about power. Every turbo kit on the market is probably going to make roughly the same power, I find it incredibly hard to believe any single one kit would be so superior that it could run a 9s 1/4 lol

You pay for quality and craftsmanship and for specific features that cater to your individual needs. That’s just my opinion though :)

My point wasn't that a log is superior, more that it does the job even if it's not as pretty.
And two cars running that manifold ran a 9.85 and a 10.01.

But I'll stop now and let your thread get back on track.

Not a problem man, I don’t mind the discussion at all :)

This is truth. Log is fine for most people.

soooo did this end up going anywhere?

Everything is ready to go. I just have had a pretty busy personal life lately and have not had time to do dyno or tuning with it yet. I’m moving to China for 6+ months for my girlfriends family as they’ve had some issues there within the family. I’m still able to contact and correspond with everyone as well as the owner of DBV2 Daniel.

Orders can commence anytime we receive money from someone. I just haven’t announced it due to everything going on with myself. I leave tomorrow though so things will have calmed down and we can move kits.

If you are looking to get into a kit, please email us at [email protected] and we can discuss everything.
