Go with better custom cooler, oem intercoolers are not enough to cool iat down to get performance. Even you get 135i cooler Its not enough

With good intercooler from wagner or similar custom made , you can get better acceleration times, but in dyno you dont see much difference. Intercooler doesnt add you horsepower but It makes you use all of your horsepower in road use with lower intake temperatures.
