Made some fine adjustments to the n52 turbo car today, broke the 500hp zone..... STILL ON THE STOCK FUEL PUMP LOL
@N52_Bob @N52John @doublemI see that your DME is an MSV70. I installed my supercharger into my 07 328i and it has an MSV80. i'm curious what the difference is between the two DMEs and is there a tunability issue with the 80? what are you using to tune if I may ask. would BPC be willing to remote tune my car for smaller pulleys on the s/c?
Just this version of it or the project canned entirely?We watched this build for some time, only to be told that there are reasons why this may not hit production. The manifold design takes the a/c out of the equation and there was talk that there may be a manifold design changes, that would alter the whole kit. This was only meant for the e90 guys anyway. Although the power achieved showed the n52 potential, we may not see this in production.
Unfortunately the N52 turbo kit is on hold due to the fact that it would cost too much to produce and we feel the end consumer would not be in the range as far as pricing and how much of the vehicle engine bay would need to be reconfigured including the potential for having to remove the AC. We are also in the process of moving to a new building in the upcoming year and will have months worth of projects to finish both with other customer vehicles and the new shop itself. It is something that we would love to be able to crank out like clock work but it is just not in our ability at this current time. Others are currently working on N52 turbo kits and cars and we are here to help and have shown that the possibilities of the N52 are real !!
