Hi Guys,

I was looking for a data display that should show me all the data I need, Boost, Lambda, EGT, EMAP and so on.
But none display on the marked matched my needs, additionally I need a boost controller, the GFB one is a good choice with scramble boost. But it’s an additional device on the dashboard.
So, I found the CanChecked display which is a CanBus based display as Awron or AK-Motion, but totally flexible for your personally needs and with four additionally IO´s.
You can configure up to ten pages with Widgets you want, to show all the data you need.
And it has an additional boost controller option with two scramble boost options and a dynamic duty option. Furthermore, you can reduce the boost by gear, or up to five valves of your choice.
Until now there is not specific frame for the display to fit in a e82 or e9x, so I have built my own. But I think they will release specific frames in the future.
I also connected an AEM Lambda to Can, EMU EGT to Can module, and an EMAP sensor, all other data came from CanBus.

I will continue this thread from time to time.

Hi, i hate to revive an old thread but was wondering how you like the CANchecked boost control after using it for a while. I have the system set up but was going to order the boost control license and hardware.

I’m so glad you revived this thread. I totally forgot about it.

I am also interested in hearing how it has been working especially with boost Control. Are you using a 3 port mac?

Hi,

I haven't use the boost controller for a long time. I have switched to a MaxxECU as piggyback very shortly.
With the MaxxECU I have way more possibilities and options.
The idea of the CANchecked display is great but it's also bugy. Sometimes it don't boot, sometimes it crashed.
Only use the display to show me the Data I want and to select my boost maps, activate the logging function in the MaxxECU and so on.
I'm using a 4-port MAC.
