Boost Solenoid Switch to realize Valet Mode

My buddy @CNM135i got the idea to place a switch in the cabin to disconnect the boost solenoid(s) and use that as vallet / wife mode. Thoughts?

Has anyone else noticed how the car sound way meaner with the boost solenoid disconnected? I assume this is because the WG is then fully open where is normally closed (on the N55).

Yes for sure. Had the same experience when the stock WG stuck open three years back.

If you have a jb4, its the same as putting it into map 8 (open wastegates). Also I defined some extra maps to allow me to set a valet mode custom rpm limiter (JB4 only).

I flash a file with lower boost targets when giving the car to others. Two minutes each way . On the fly would be great
