Long time reader first time poster, I've been learning how to tune my 2009 BMW 335i xDrive (N54) myself and thought I'd share what I've been able to achieve with a 100% stock car.
I sold my 2007 RWD 335i a few years ago, it only had a charge pipe and JB4 with MHD backend flash but was able to run a 12.9 @113 mph on map 5 E40 mix. When I got this new one I decided to see what I can do myself!
I'm sitting at 149k miles now, never been walnut blasted and still on stock charge pipe, spark plugs, intake, everything. I know the boost target is sloppy, still learning about how to dial in the WGDC. I've been fighting the LPFP and rail pressure, so I think an LPFP upgrade is the first real mod.
Hoping to match my 12.9 at the drag strip this Tuesday, I would appreciate any feedback!
FYI Tune was done with TunerPro, MHD Super License, and Virtual Dyno, and I'm running 93 octane pump gas. Currently on my self-designated V2.10 tune, have attached the virtual dyno graphs of a few different versions.
