I'm Paolo, from Switzerland. I've been working on my 2009 BMW 135i E82 Limited Edition (Swiss Sauber Edition) with approximately 45'000 miles (70'000 km) for a few years now, and I'm getting deeper into building a reliable and track-capable high-power N54 setup.
The car is currently running ~540hp on E85, fully catless. It’s mostly used for occasional track days and aggressive street driving. Cooling and fueling are sorted, and I’ve done all the usual supporting mods (inlets, outlets, FMIC, LPFP, clutch upgrades, etc.).
My next step is upgrading the turbos for 2xTD04 or Single Turbo to aim for 700hp, while still retaining a balanced powerband for fast response and drivability. I'm researching turbo options, and refining my strategy for thermal management under track conditions.
