Bad HPFP or Bad Bank 1 Injectors?

Hey Team,

Just another question that I have to ask.

The logs below this, can someone help me figure out if it's my HPFP playing up or my injectors?

Reason why I say that is, my first log below shows that the HPFP is at 2.6k PSI and above but my next log which I did on the same day "Today" is in the 1.7k PSI mark after about 10mins driving (Both were short 2nd gear WOT)... If someone can figure this out, it would mean the world to me as for the life of me, I can't decide if it's the injectors or the HPFP...

To add to this as well, looks like the LPFP doesn't look good either, might be caused by the other problems such as the injectors or the HPFP?

First log was about 2 mins of driving from cold start (5 Min Idle to warm up)
Second log was about 10-15 minutes of driving, the differences in the HPFP are so odd.

2nd gear is really short, try to do a 3rd gear log wide open throttle from 2500 up to redline on a private road.

Yeah man, I would but it misfires so badly and keeps jerking through out the pull, I don't feel really comfortable driving it..

Is there any way possible seeing the problem through those logs? Just need help knocking this problem over its head lol

Just out of interest what fmic are you running? IAT's are increasing fast! Possibly the cause for those timing corrections.

Fueling and AFR's looks fine from what i can see. HPFP looks normal. LPFP is bit low on pressure up top.

Edit: Strange to see V10 Stage2+ 93oct pulling so much fuel within the trims

I'm no expert, so maybe others may spot a issue.

I'm actually not running any aftermarket FMIC, just the stock FMIC šŸ˜¬, I do need to get myself a good FMIC but just trying to fix this on going issue..

Going back 3 months ago, I did have a blocked primary cat which was just causing everything to get carbonized on bank 1, so I'm wondering if my bank 1 injectors have finally had it...

What do you think, should I replace my bank 1 injectors and see how I go? I'm putting money down on it being the injectors that are playing up, because everytime I pull them out to have a look, they are just full of carbon where 2 days ago, I cleaned them to smick..

Arh thought is was still Stock IC. Your still running cats so are they still stock downpipes aswell?

Perhaps all is needed is running the correct map.

If you have Down pipes only you should run stage 2. not the + version.

Nah I've got VRSF downpipes V2, but still have secondary cats in place.. I'll actually do that today, I'll go back to Stage 2.

Yeah i see what you mean by changing the map might fix the issue but I actually do have an injector and LPFP problem, just found out I have 3 leaky injectors on bank 1 which is what is most likely causing my problem and the LPFP adding to the problem as well and giving me shitty performance.

Gonna buy 3 Injectors and LPFP and see how I go from there... Wish me luck lol

Bank 1 and bank 2 AFR seem to cut off at 234 fairly equal. How did you find out that they are leaking?

Did you pull the plugs after sitting for a while? Any sign of fuel on them?

Yeah man, took out the plugs and they were wet and the smell was just pure fuel, but I think it might be because I didn't replace the Teflon Seal...

It's such a weird problem but mustn't be something that is major because the car is not throwing any codes, just a superknock and misfire code here and there but on the odd occasion... So it must be injectors, if it was the HPFP, it would throw codes

How would the teflon seal make the injector leak into the cylinder which in turn cause the plug to be soaked in fuel? Not replacing it and the decoupler could cause you to potentially blow hot ass exhaust out your injector hole ruining your head.

That is my best guess. I would replace with new index 12s and report back. Unfortunately, they cost a fortune now. Report back for others so they can learn from your thread.
