AD Engineering is a fraud or scam?

AD Engineering is nothing but Fraud and scam
I pay 716.99$ for a BMW N54 port injection kit on 1st of February 2018 from AD Engineering and I did not receive any thing since then and the date of today is 4th of May 2018
I try to contact the company by phone about 10 times and there is no response.
I emailed them for a couple of times and I get nothing but email auto response.
I send a voice mail on 14th of march 2018 to get my money back and cancel my order they send me a USPS pre-shipment on 16th of march with no information or receipt.

Any one have the same problem?

I just responded on the other forum. Call up Kaizenspeed and see if Andy still works there or not. I don't know this for a fact, but I THINK AD-Engineering is just a side business that he runs (very poorly). Fucking Honda guys are all scammers I swear.

Yikes. Continue to hear more and more stories like this about AD-E. Not good. From the other recent claims I've heard against AD-E on the forums/FB, we're talking tens of thousands of dollars of unfulfilled/non-responsive orders. He may be backlogged on orders, but business 101 says that communication is absolutely paramount.

FWIW - My limited interaction with AD-E was when I ordered their 1000hp FMIC two years ago. Don't remember specifics from the time, but it took months longer to receive than I was initially told. But when it arrived (finally) it was exactly as expected.

I've only ordered small stuff from Andy. Low-temp t-stat back in early 2016, and motor mounts back in late 2016. No complaints with either.

However his bigger orders seem to be hit or miss.

Seriously? The OP posted his original purchase on 2/1, and two auto-reply emails from back in Feb where you were ostensibly made aware of the issue. Then in March the tracking number was issued but the USPS didn't receive the package for processing. That is all the screen captures he posted in the OP.

You just heard about this today? I've never had a problem ordering from you but this response is dismissive based on the OP's attachments and details supporting his claim.

You might have an issue to look into with your email sending auto-responses that you are unaware of.

Chargepipe on time and badass
Valve cover fittings. Both on time
Motor mounts on sale. Received within a month. Badass.
Billet Fuel hat for drivers side. About a month later than expected but it’s a custom part. Not a stock item. Answered my questions pretty fast after I received it. Totally Badass peice.

Definitely not a scam I think he just gets overwhelmed and tries to focus on the orders. Communication would alleviate 90% of his bad remarks you come across.

He most definitely focuses on "taking" the orders, just not "fulfilling" the orders, or "communicating" about said orders.

The problem is, what incentive is there for him to communicate better? People still buy from him, so he clearly doesn't give af. He's basically told customers to kiss his butt (figuratively) after they have purchased.

Hey now, don't tell your account of working with Andy unless its negative. God forbid @langsbr makes up lies that fit his narrative. Truth is, I've never had a single bad transaction from Andy, but know people who have. Am I supposed to just shit on him too? All we can do is give our experience if we have one, except some people want to make shit up about you and make you seem corrupt or something because he doesn't like Andy. He's competition with Mauricio or something and he's an MMP nut hugger I think.

@langsbr tell us all your bad experiences buying from Andy. Go on, thats what this thread is about, so lets hear it. Particularly, lets focus on the times he's scammed you, as the title of this thread is suggesting.

He is known for delivering items late sometimes. But he's not a scammer.

Sorry.... not....I can't get behind this opinion.

The number one reason this is now my number one forum is because this doesn't happen here as far as I have noticed. So far, this seems to be the forum we all wished they could be. No vendors buying their way into controlling the discussion.
