Does anyone know how integrated the ABS module is into the DME? For example, without the stock DME will the ABS module still work if it is receiving power? Or is it directly controlled with the DME like the rest of the DSC system?
I’ve been trying to find his contact info for a while. Michael Page is a pretty common name so I wasn’t able to find him by searching. I follow his post on bimmerpost and I know he has an IG but I don’t know what the name is. I would love to get him on the phone for a bit to discuss what he’s done and what I’m planning to doYou may try reaching out to Michael page on fb. He has a turbo ls1 E90 and would probably be able to tell you what does and doesn't need the dme to work
Does that mean that it only uses braking to intervene? I thought the DSC system was a combination of braking and reducing engine power.
Hi jyamona, sorry for bringing back this post, but how exactly can you make the DME ignore DSC torque reduction requests? Is this only done by swaping the ///M DSC module? or is there any way to do this via coding?Yea, I can have the DME ignore DSC torque reduction requests and nothing complains...except your tires![]()
Is this something that can be done with TunerPro via an MHD custom map? If so, which parameter? The car I tested it on was stock DSC unit (335is) and just a DME change.
So when we long press traction control and disable is their still some torque reduction ? Or would you be making it so single press dtc would function with brake intervention but not throttle.

there are DSC emulators that send constant fixed speed.Similar topic, has anyone completely removed the ABS valve and had no issues with throttle reduction, limp modes, etc? I have a pedal box and brake bias adjuster so curious if I need to leave the valve electrically connected or I can remove it.
