So I was wondering, is there even one person in any forums that anyone knows of who actually bought and installed $600 titanium wheel lug nuts to save one pound of weight?

Just curious. I mean, that is so ludicrous that I can't even imagine anyone doing this.

I think people would definitely do that. But only because they have money to spend, don't think the weight is really justifiable.

I put titanium brake rotors bolts, sprocket bolts, and traction control ring bolts on my bike. But they sure as hell weren't $600. And it's a bike.

$600 is wayyyyy steep. The Honda scene guys do it all the time, and theirs def don't cost $600.

Mechunic sells tgem for 300.
Other pruces seen were 600, 250, etc... all of these are absurd prices for bolts.

you're talking about a mod that is reserved for a time when you have literally no other mods left to do - trying to squeak out another hundredth in the 1/4 mile or something. Well past the point of diminishing returns.

I agree.
