In a livestream today, Ford CEO Mark Fields announced that they will be building a hybrid mustang which can deliver v8 power and the low end torque of an electric motor at the Flat Rock plant. It was detailed that there will be 13 vehicles which will have electrified variants, including the F-150, their Transit van and an EV SUV with 300 miles of range. It seems they will also pursue autonomous technology like self-park and other features that some other makers deliver today.
