Not all cars are designed equally, I will say that. My 2012 chevy volt has 'inserts' everywhere. They are constantly popping up on the door handle exposing the bolts to remove the trim. Pretty annoying.
The problem is that BMW has an established brand that conveys certain....preconceived notions. It is a status symbol in a lot of people's minds.
Kia has established a brand that conveys certain....preconceived notions too. And status is not one of those things.
Yet Kia is pricing this car right alongside its german competitors. It won't fly. Part of the money you are paying on a BMW/Mercedes/Audi/Lexus is the brand name. Eventually these Kia's will slow on sales, you'll get huge rebates then it might be interesting to check one out.
