2012 e93 335is DCT
Hey guys,

I just finished installing my speedtech 6266 kit last weekend on my 2012 335is. I'll be posting a bunch of pictures below. Everything fit great, and I've put around 300 miles on it since installing and have not had any issues, other than some tune related things that are now worked out! Hardest part of the install was getting the turbo clocked right, and getting it to fit on the manifold being clocked in the right direction and still accessing the turbo to manifold bolts. But other than that, install was a breeze. Took me 40 hours total working on it from Friday-Monday.

Next up on the list is port injection and SSP clutch packs!

Here are the specs;

Nice project! I will be going with Speedtech as well. Any reason behind the turbo choice? I'm currently running 6766BB and looking to get into smaller Garret GTX (3076 or 3071 Gen 2).

Also, the small nipple on the turbo inlet, is that intended for OCC return? How would you rate overall quality and fitment of the silicone hoses?

nice build. I had clutch/flywheel issues so I have a SMFW on the way to be installed this week along with Spec 3+. Last pull made 692/672 @24psi before clutch couldn't hold anymore. With PI and 100% e85. Kinda wish I went with a bigger turbo, but I'll upgrade in the spring most likely. Will prob run 30-33 psi for the dyno just to see the numbers.

What clutch were you on before? I'm looking to swap out my undrivable PTF/Motiv twin disk (dual 6 puck disks lol) to something more street friendly. Detuning car to low 500whp.

was running a used spec 3+ on OE flywheel. Made about 20 passes on the dyno till it took a crap. luckily it was at no cost to me. 1st gear is a pain as the engagement is pretty high... I drove it maybe 300mi on the street w/o PI while i was breaking in the motor and 1st-2nd was the only complaint. I'll see in the upcoming weeks if the SMFW makes a difference

I’m DCT so luckily none of those issues yet. Once I go PI, I’ll be upgrading to SSP clutch packs

Silicone fit great. Had to bend an AC line out of the way for the inlet though.
mans yes, the I let has two 3/4” spots for accessories such as an OCC. it also comes with block off plugs for them.
I would recommend ordering speedtech’s OCC line kit as well.
