I have Turbo Smart comp 40 wastegates that came pre installed with 14 psi springs. (7psi outer, 7psi inner). I was having over boost cut issues even on just wastegate duty cycle (10). The springs were too stiff to allow the wastegates to fully open/ Reason I say they wouldn't fully open is when I took of the wastegates to remove the inner 7psi spring from each wastegate, I noticed that the valve sleeve only had wear polish marking halfway and other half did not have wear marks. I removed the 7psi inner sprig and ordered 5 psi inner spring while keeping the same 7psi outer spring to see if it helps. Took it for a spin with only 7psi outer spring in each wastegate and feels a lot better plus I can hear the wastegates too. Much louder!! Just waiting on the two 5psi springs from Turbo Smart to come in so I can see if it resolves my over boost issue.
