@matreyia do you have logs at the varying ethanol levels? I see you have the bimmerlife coils, but plugs gapped at .030. Isn't .030 quite a bit even with aftermarket coils? I would think .028 would be the limit, and .025 inline with norms.

With N54 FF old Bank 1 is used as fuel main (your 91/93) and bank 2 is used as your E85 table. Timing and some other tables are added to empty space on the rom (bin... whatever you want to call it) but anyways that is why it auto populated some of the data. When you ran the bin through the converter it added some values to bin and modified others. I traced back some of the hex addresses and new address for addresses as well and its empty space on bin before modification. Means new HEX data is written with executable.
As for your question on how to interpolate the table for max power and max load at Ethanol % you are targeting, lets say E50. You have to fill full interpolation at that E85 level that you scaled. My tables might look little bit different since I modified some stuff. Also for the sensor I have 0.5-3.0-4.0 Voltage scaling. If you want it to be more linear you can do 0.50-2.25 and 4.0 which will make voltage scaling smoother (I like smooth everything on the car). This will also help with some STFT spikes in area where you roll into boost, which I noticed on some cars.

I run about 12* of timing On e85 for most part (sometimes more) so just make sure your tables are all good when you scale interpolation

Rock solid operation. Zero timing corrections. It was very fast even in grandma mode. At dead stop I waited for a car to zoom past me at 80mph and I stomped it and drove past him in seconds... i think it scared him because he changed lanes to get out of the way farther than necessary.


Also on the drive there was a Chanllenger Srt that TRIED some shenanigans and was so shocked that he lost will and quickly decided to slow down like a normal driver. He did not expect the asswhoopin from a convertible.

Looking at your log, it appears you have the same wiring issue that @blisstik had with his 2nd lpfp trigger. It is causing voltage spikes and in turn the ethanol voltage / content spikes. You can see his post here for how he fixed.

I have read that post 20x and I have no idea what he is talking about. Many terms are for people that know what he is talking about and I don't know them.

I have a stage 3 lpfp with hobbs switch in the chargepipe. Are you saying there is a problem somewhere? If so, what is it and how do I fix it...pretend you are explaining to a retarded chimp when explaining. I do not know common terms, I only have a Bentley Manual with their terms so if any street terms are used I am going to be lost.

Don't want to derail this, but you said you have a stage 3 with hobbs switch in the chargepipe. Is that the normal place to put the hobbs switch vs the manifold? Are you running PI? I would've thought you'd want the hobbs to see true manifold boost rather than CP boost. I am about to get a stage 3 pump as well, and wanted to make sure it's in the right place.

Ideally it should be getting boost reference from the manifold, yes.

Where is the FF bin converter? I just assumed you could open your current bin with the FF XDF and populate the tables in the flex fuel folders? Is that not the case? My kit is coming tomorrow and trying to get things setup so I can take advantage!
