So, has anyone tried the radium fuel pump hanger surge tank? And wondering if one 525 lpfp will handle 700whp of e85 coming off that with upgraded lines and pi? So assuming I order this I would need the bmp4 ekp for two pumps correct? Or should I just talk to the guys at EOS about that nice looking billet fuel system that's not available yet?

based on the flow data available on the 525 I think you will come up well short on straight e85 for 700 "whp". maybe you'd manage on a lower concentration of ethanol. you could control a single pump (the 525) and have a the lift pump run 100% on (in which case you'd want to re-install the stock pump if you currently have a walbro 450 for instance), or control two pumps if you didn't want the lift pump running full tilt all of the time.

Thanks for the response. That's what I was worried about. I really need to run two 450's or two 525's. But with the radium setup I would need the three pump controller which is quite a bit more expensive. Or run the stock "lift" pump at 100% with the bmp4 controlling the two 450's or 525's in the radium unit.

Radium did their testing with the stock pump on 100% as the lift pump. The current draw is not too bad;

"We tested the OEM 335i E92 lift pump, we found the pump flows about 176 L/HR at 53 psi / 65 deg. F / 8.5 amps using the stock venturi."

R.G. has this setup (twin 450's controlled and stock lift pump 100%) - he might chime in for you on feedback.

That's kinda what I was thinking. It would be nice to here from the owner about how exactly he wired it up and his experience tuning the controller.
