Opinion on reconditioned engine

Hi All

Is a reconditioned engine, your existing engine but just rebuilt with original parts from scratch, and therefore it would work like a new engine?

Any advice, I'd appreciate it.

Original engine on the shelf still planning on rebuilding it in the future.
Current engine from LKQ only replaced the bearings and all of Orings...gaskets and other randoms that like ruin a N54s day..
