n54 trouble shooting

hey hows it going im having this problem where i go to floor it and my car cuts and as soon as it cuts i look down and i see my oil temp gauge go all the way down then it goes back where it was. it only does this when it cuts any ideas?

When you say "cut" you mean cuts off fuel?
What is done to the car?
What have to looked at to troubleshoot and ruled out?

No shadow codes?

Check your oil level.

Tighten the battery hold down and clamps.

Tighten the battery hold down and clamps.

If the battery terminals were loose, wouldn't the car run strictly off of the alternator? On this note maybe the ground from the motor mount to the chassis?
