Right now I'm mainly running MHD stage 2+ e30 tune. Occasionally go back to just stage 2+ when I don't make it to an e85 station.

I run NGK coils and oe Bosch plugs... those weird 4 prong ones. No misfires in over a year. Now one coil is failing. Verified by swapping locations and the misfire moved with the coil.

So, I decided to try the BL coil setup. Bought the updated version from a member here.

Anyone using OE spark plugs with the BL coils? If so. Any issues?

For those running BL coils. What spark plug and gap is ideal for the BL coils?

Thanks!

I run a step colder with mine but don't even play with the gap, never any issues. I can't see you having a problem with the OE plugs with the BL coils if they have been fine with the OE coils

Do you check the gap? It's not guaranteed unless it's the fixed/oe variant.

I always set them down to .022 until this last plug change, more as a let's see what happens thing. I changed these plugs over a year ago and put about 20k on the car in that time
