thanks! that has a lot of the back story that I was looking for. i bought a helix 3x a couple years ago and never used it. it's hard to see the value proposition with that kind of story lol

PI wins out every time vs. overspinning your HPFP or adding additional HPFPs. It is a no brainer when the stock injectors are ultimately a limit. PI also washes your valves and is less expensive than overspinning in almost all cases.

Injectors are not the limit as they are rated much higher, the fuel pump flow is the limit and hence why Porsche has a six valve pump vs our 4.

It could be adapted but the shear cost of the pump itself will make most cringe and you still would need some kind of adapter to run it.

Marty is right to a point. I’m still not out of stock injectors with the PFS Pod. Rail pressure still is good as well.

What is the highest dynojet dyno DI only 100% E85 whp number that is not a vendor or very closely associated with one?

Either way if you want to make real JAM PI is the way to go.

I believe this is a tuner thing. I’ve ran 100% E before, At 25psi on a 3572R. Currently the E I run from the pump close to me tests around E63ish.

At the time, I didn't know my actual ethanol content when I was direct injection only, but I am also getting about e60ish nowadays from the pump.

Either way, there is definitely more headroom with port injection and the reflex makes it all worthwhile.

The Di injectors are only limited by the current di pumps and overdrives and with the lack of investment into something better we will never see
what they max out at or if they do.

The reflex Pi is by far the cheapest alternative, but we ran into some issues which I'm trying to work through on my mate's car.

The engine was never designed to run pi and the only true best way is to run it of a standalone.

If you're not aiming for big power I would stick to Di only as that's the cheapest and most reliable option, you can have all the power in the world but you still need traction which these cars dont have in lower gears due to IRS.

I’m surprised how far I’ve gotten being Di only. Currently at 29psi with a 3572R. And in third gear still holds around 2500psi, in fourth gear it’s around 3000. It’s the Carabuser sauce 🙂
