Hello Everyone!
I’m running pi with Reflex. It has been running until a few days ago I got an MHD001 can 1 sensor timeout error. I changed the ground wire to another location and checked all the posi connections. Everything looks fine but the error does not go away. I appreciate it if someone could shred some lights.

I just had the canbus hi or canbus low posi tap too loose, so it didn't make contact and gave the MHD001 can 1 fault code. In my opinion, posi tap connections should not be used at all. I think I tightened the connectors enough during the installation, but it wasn't tight enough. It started working when I went through the connections and tightened them again. It's an N54, but the same idea anyway. I'll make better connections instead of posi taps sometime when I have time to fix them.

What do you use instead of posi taps? Not hacking up OEM wiring harness was the attraction, I know a plug and play harness is supposed to be out around now but haven’t heard any experiences, not sure if actually out yet. Having same issues, I got rid of the CAN 001 error now at least it reads ethanol content through canbus, but nothing else works

Yes I'm using POSI. It was working but fine until now. Bimmernetwork is selling the plug and play for around $600. How did you get rid of the error?

Well, seems to me I had both my ReFlex power and Mac fed off the same switched 12v, which may have caused issues (perhaps was an intermittent connection error, interference, etc), so when I tapped a fuse for an additional switched 12v, fixed the issue.
Although, still issues, just maybe not the CAN 001

What ECA preset do you select in MHD option?

Following as I still can't for the life of me get MHD to read my ECA from my Reflex even though the reflex is reading it.

I'm having similar issues.
Car ran fine for a while then all of a sudden got the mhd001. Soldered everything and now at startup I'm getting mhd005 and car runs terrible. No eca signal in mhd and It's dumping fuel. So I turn the car off and immediately restart it and it runs fine and eca signal returns. I've narrowed it down to either the reflex is not sending a signal to the dme or the dme is not detecting a signal. Waiting on a reply from Motiv.

Not sure if this would help
Id try plugging it into the 3 wire harness and try checking the voltage on the input wire from the sensor to the reflex.

If you get a voltage then its probably software related.

Other than that you just need to make sure mhd can bus is selected and you select the ethanol sensor option before you flash your car.
