How to speed up timing correction recovery?

I've noticed in my MHD logs that when a timing correction occurs, regardless of amount, the DME seems to have a "preset" progression during recovery and it seems to take longer than I want. If you look at a log with timing corrections you'll see the "tamper" back to demanded/requested timing is the same regardless of the amount of correction. A larger correction takes longer to fully recover. Does anyone know if this is configurable, like a table setting that can be adjusted? I think I'd rather have a few small corrections than 1 that takes a seeming long time to recover. Obviously the solution is the prevent corrections but that's not always going to happen.

I have a '12 135i N55 PWG 98G0B DME.

The DME will slowly add timing as it feels it is safe. There is the option (I personally prefer NOT to do it), to desensitize knock tables and would / should give you what you are looking for.....at a greater risk that is not worth it IMO.

That definitely is not what I had in mind. I'm OK with having a timing correction what I'd like is to recover quicker. I looked at a bunch of my logs over the past 1/2 year and the recovery time takes between ~1400 to 2k rpms in some older logs. If just seems if you have a single 3* correction it would take less time than 1400 rpm to correct, if not issue another correction. I've looked at some N54 logs and they have the same slow tamper back to normal timing so it's probably something I'll have to live live. I know I can feel when timing is off,
