Hey fellas, happy to join the forum I have been lurking for some time now, I have an e89 Z4 35is 2011 in Atacama Yellow much like a certain someone on this forum. I bought this car while I was in university and now as a young grad and I have been planning to slowly build this car up. Right now It has an intercooler, intakes and jb4 tune. Which Im planning to run a backend flash soon. Any advice and all advice is extremely welcomed!

Welcome, and beautiful car! I am sure you have read this before but it never hurts to reiterate it, make sure it is maintained.
What are your goals for the car?

Very nice! Welcome aboard. Don't be shy and ask questions. We've got a number of E89 owners here. The forum structure can be a bit tedious to navigate. A few tips from my experience:

Follow general "latest" posts: https://www.spoolstreet.com/forums/
Z4 stuff ... kind of confusing because it is in both the general "Z" sub forum and the e89 sub sub forum lol: https://www.spoolstreet.com/forums/bmw-z.65/
And N54 where we have a lot of activity: https://www.spoolstreet.com/forums/n54.4/

I tend to follow latest posts ... and then check the other two sub forums from time to time, if I missed something.

The funny part ... early on in spoolstreet @doublespaces and I were discussing whether an E89 sub forum made any sense (there was so few cars in enthusiast hands). I promised Tyler I'd move my posts over and talk up the sub forum to see if we could get some activity.

It actually worked out! lol

Thank you! Well right now is to be around fully bolt-on, but eventually, down the line, I plan to run upgraded turbos with port injection and hopefully run close to 600, but that is far in the future. Thankfully I have been on top of the maintenance.

Thank you! I have been following your build for quite a while and I have to admit I'm quite a fan hahaha. I might ask you some questions down the line hahaha.

Gorgeous z4 if I didn’t want a wagon so badly the z was the next choice. Can’t wait to see what you do with it!

Thanks! I got high hopes for it! Your build looks amazing as well. Wagons are definitely underrated in the n54 world.

I’m sure it’ll be sick and thanks man I have always loved fast wagons I know they’re heavier and lose handling points but there’s just something about them that draws me in . Can’t wait to see what you do with it!
